The steak was cooked to perfection as to how I want it. Their signature sauce is very flavourful and goes well with the steak and truffle fries. However, the free salad had little to no dressing. Just tasted like washed vegetables. The outdoor seating had a little fishy smell as is located beside the river. View was amazing! Got to see the whole of Marina Bay Sands from afar. The service was pretty bad as they forgotten about my table twice. Had to ask for water 3 times before it finally came. Before we were seated, 2 different waiters came to ask for our no. of pax and just disappeared, leaving us waiting. Overall, would recommend if you’re looking for a delicious steak at an affordable price near MBS.

Approached the manager Ms Caroline Miranda and asked if feasible to arrange for an outdoors proposal at outside deck of the restaurant overlooking the Bay. She was exceptionally understanding and accommodated our arrangements including giving us the entire deck to set up! She and her staff provided fantastic service throughout our special night and the food was amazing as well! We had a lovely and memorable night thanks to Ms Caroline and her staff!

The view is really good, we saw fireworks from NDP rehearsal, the reservation dinning time is only for 2 hours, and if you cannot finish your meal, they do not offer a take away service, it will have no choice but to throw away. I think all the food is good, just that I don’t like to waste food, I might not come back again. Highly recommended if you can finish one person course.

Had lunch with a friend to catch up and connect. A conducive environment. Sat outside (along the walkway not facing the river side). It was pouring, one of Singapore’s freaky apocalyptic downpour. We were still able to hear each other and converse over some drinks before the starters arrived. Entrecôte has a lovely curated Lunch menu with options to have three or two servings 👍🏼 It was more economical to choose the set, of course. Onion soup, escargots, salad, and entrecôte steaks with fries. Note: The ‘done-ness’ of the meat is usually one down. I love a medium rare stake so I requested for a medium. The service crew is good 😊 enjoyed the interaction with the person who served us.

Upfront I would say that the food was the top winner. Yes, go for the steak and fries. They were excellent. I love the fries - crispy on the outside, fluffy inside and just the right amount of salt. I wish they provided tomato ketchup. I get it, this is a French Bistro but still ... They provided mustard instead to dip and actually I admit the fries killed it on their own so I forgive the no ketchup rule. We sat on the outside (more on that later). Our dinner started out when the sky was still bright and my back was facing the bay. By the time I turned around, MBS was in the background all lit with a light show. It was breath taking. Finally, unfortunately the restaurant had issues with air conditioning indoors. We initially reserved indoor seats but quickly asked to move out because the air was warm, stale and still even though they tried to use ventilators. Server manpower was down and even though the staff was very nice and tried very hard, there were too few to properly serve us. There was a perceptible lag in taking orders and serving food. So I would have scored them 5 stars but I think the service let them down. It also made me consider going to their other outlets in future rather than this one.
